​May and June Updates from SonShine Christian Academy

Thank you to all of our parents who joined us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week during the first week of May! It was a VERY busy week, but so much fun. We are so thankful for our amazing teachers and staff and all they do for our children and families every day!

We are also looking forward to the upcoming three-day weekend. Please remember that SonShine will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our veterans and military families for your service to our country.

Southwest Lutheran Church will be hosting the annual Karen Cultural Festival on Saturday, May 30th! Come out and enjoy authentic Thai food, traditional dances, a kids zone, and more. It is always a wonderful community event!

Donuts with Dad is coming up in June! Be sure to check flyers and Brightwheel for event details and times.

And finally, for our Pre-K students who will be leaving for the summer — Preschool Graduation will be held on July 31st! We would love to celebrate this exciting milestone with you before your little ones head off to kindergarten.
