We have lots of exciting things coming up at SonShine! Here are a few dates and updates to keep on your calendar.

📸 Picture Day — September 16th & 17th

Picture Day is coming up on September 16th and 17th! Please check Brightwheel for additional details.

Photo forms are available at the front counter or can be found in your Brightwheel messages.

🚗 Cars & Caring — October 3rd | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Our annual Cars & Caring event, hosted by our partners at Southwest Lutheran Church, is coming up!

This year's event will focus on adoption and foster care. If you have ever considered opening your home to a child, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local advocates and agencies and learn more about how you can get involved.

There will be something for everyone, including:

• 🎪 Kids Zone with carnival games

• 🎨 Face painting

• 🛍️ Creation Marketplace

• 🚘 Car Show

Everyone is welcome! We hope you can join us on October 3rd from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.

🎃 Trunk or Treat — October 23rd | 6:00–8:00 PM

Trunk or Treat is coming up on October 23rd from 6:00–8:00 PM!

If you would like to decorate a trunk or simply bring your family for some fall fun, we would love to have you join us. We can't wait to see all the creative trunks and enjoy a fun evening together!

🏫 Classroom Updates Coming Soon

We also have some exciting classroom updates in the works! We plan to paint most of the classrooms in the main hallway and make a few additional updates to freshen up the space.

Please keep an eye out for more details, as we may need to make temporary classroom moves to accommodate painting, paint fumes, and other updates.
